Bomb Blast in Downtown Cairo Wounds 9 People

On Monday, an extremist group involved with ISIS labeling themselves "Revolutionary Punishment" had two bombs planted in downtown Cairo.  One bomb was planted under a parked car out in front of the High Court, which is the highest criminal court located in the country of Egypt.  This bomb wounded 9 individuals including three police officers but had no fatalities.  The second bomb was disarmed before it could explode.  They were hoping to target and kill a group of police officers with the timing of the explosion which partially worked.   This event raised much fear throughout Egypt and was followed by another bomb in southern Egypt which killed two individuals.
